What do we do when we come to visit you?
When we come to see you we usually do a number of different things. Some questions help us to look at your language, reading and spelling ability. Other questions are about things like friendships, how you feel about yourself, what you think about school and what you hope to do in the future. If you have taken part recently this will all sound very familiar!
Why do we ask you so many questions? Well, for those of you with a history of language difficulties, collecting information about how your language changes as you grow up is very important. It helps us get an idea of whether children who have difficulties when they are young are likely to need support as they get older. We want to know the answers to lots of questions like whether teenagers with a history of language problems are more or less likely to use computers than teenagers with no history of language difficulties. All of you can help us find the answers!
